Privacy Policy

Effective August 25, 2026

1. Overview

Monkey in a Box operates a private creator-management portal for approved creators, agents, and administrators. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect information when you use the portal, sign in with TikTok, or contact us.

2. Information we collect

Depending on your role and the features you use, we may collect TikTok account identifiers, display name, profile image, authorization details provided through TikTok Login Kit, creator roster and management-relationship information, LIVE performance metrics, reports, coaching notes, imports, access records, portal activity, and communications you choose to provide.

We do not ask for or store your TikTok password. TikTok authentication is handled by TikTok.

3. How we use information

  • Authenticate users and enforce creator, agent, and administrator permissions.
  • Show creators their own analytics and agents the creators assigned to them.
  • Compare current and historical performance and generate executive reports.
  • Identify performance trends and recommend coaching actions.
  • Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the portal.
  • Comply with law and enforce our agreements.

4. Role-based access

Unknown TikTok accounts are denied access by default. Creators may access only their own authorized profile and analytics. Agents may access only assigned creators. Approved administrators may access organization-wide information for legitimate management purposes.

5. Sharing and service providers

We may share information with TikTok as needed to provide authorized integrations and with vendors that host, secure, monitor, or support the portal. We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a legitimate business transfer.

6. Data retention and security

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for portal operations, reporting, contractual obligations, dispute resolution, and legal compliance. We use reasonable safeguards, including access controls and protected authentication tokens. No system can guarantee absolute security.

7. Your choices and rights

You may disconnect TikTok authorization through your TikTok settings. You may request access, correction, or deletion of information associated with your portal account, subject to legal and operational retention requirements. Email info@monkeyinabox.live.

8. Children

The portal is intended for authorized agency participants who are legally able to use the service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Changes

We may update this policy as the portal or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy with a new effective date and provide additional notice when appropriate.

10. Contact

Questions or privacy requests may be sent to info@monkeyinabox.live.

This policy applies to the Monkey in a Box Creator Portal and does not replace TikTok’s own privacy policy or terms.
